Bambino Ballet & Bella Moves Dance
Our aim is to inspire all students to develop into confident, positive and creative young people, who will remember their first dance steps with fondness. Above all, we aim to make each and every class fun and exciting, positive and loved. A Christmas concert is held at the end of every year – where all students are given the opportunity to display their talents whilst experiencing the performance aspect of dance.
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Tiny Gems Ballet (2-3 year olds ) - parent participation
Gems Ballet (2.5-3.5 year olds)
A magical introduction to the world of dance. Our approach is to make these classes fun whilst providing an articulate beginning to dance foundations. Classes are intuitively structured to suit all little dancers according to their mood and energy levels on the day. The Tiny Gems classes welcomes parent participation forming a nurturing introduction to what may appear to be daunting experience. All in all students eventually settle into routine adjusting to new faces and instructions making ballet class the highlight of the week.
Rubies Ballet (3.5-4.5 year olds)
Whilst still magical and whimsical, these classes are designed to develop poise, co-ordination and rhythmical response. There is an introduction to basic ballet technique with emphasis placed on what the students are comfortable with "trying". No two classes are essentially the same but a regular routine is established.
Diamonds Ballet (4.5-6 year olds)
A natural progression from the magical world of dance interpretation to the more structured class. This program is implemented in a unique and creative way whilst reviewing the foundation of ballet technique. The focus of this class confidence and group dynamics preparing the students for performance and assessment tasks.
Primary -Level 4 Ballet
Highly structured class. Recommended to students who wish to refine their ballet dancing skills, improve their discipline and further their dance education. These Classes should only be undertaken by disciplined and serious students. The classes are based on the ADV syllabus with influences from the RAD syllabus. Classes also include classical ballet theory work - history, nutrition and body science. Students have the opportunity to participate in ADV (Australian Dance Vision) yearly assessments.
Jnr Jazz (5-7 year olds)
Int Jazz (7-9 year olds)
Snr Jazz (10 years +)
These fast paced , highly energetic classes is designed for little dancers who like to move. Students have the opportunity to learn basic jazz moves, dance to their favourite songs and make new friends in a fun and exciting environment. Students develop a sense of rhythm, co-ordination, fitness and love of dance. Classes are gradually made more difficult and challenging as students move up to the next level.
Contemporary (10 years +)
A difficult genre to define. The class encourages students to explore their bodies through movement and imagination. Flexibility and stamina is increased. Students are introduced to various forms of dance, versitility is key.
